How You Can Choose The Gender Of Your Unborn Baby.
It is important for every woman to know what they should do to predetermine the gender of their baby.
The gender of a child is determined by the man. It has nothing to do with a woman but as a woman, here is how you can ensure that your man gives you a male or female child.
The men during intercourse release sperm cells. These male sperm cells are either X or Y. Only one sperm cell(X or Y) can fertilize an egg.
The female releases an egg during ovulation. The female egg cell is always X.
When the X- sperm cell meets the female egg X, giving rise to XX. The baby will be a female child.
But when the Y- sperm cell meets the female egg X, giving rise to XY. The baby will be a male child.
The male X- sperm cells move slowly but survive longer (up to 3-4days).
The male Y- sperm cells move faster but also die faster (lifespan about 24 hrs).
So if you have intercourse some days before your ovulation, most of the Y-Sperm cells would have died, leaving mostly X-Sperm cells to fertilize the egg.
Here’s a simple way to calculate your ovulation period:
1. From the first day you see your period, pick up a calendar & count 15 days forward (including the first day of the blood stain)
2. Mark the 15th day with a pen.
3. Mark 3 days before the 15th day.
4. Mark 3 days after the 15th day.
5. You will see you ha 7 days marked in all, which are your Ovulation days/ Fertile Days/ Unsafe Period.
‘Unsafe period’ because if you have sex on any of these days, you have a 98% chance of getting pregnant.
6. Do this every month diligently.
i) If your period was 11th August, 15 days after the first day of the blood stain will be on 25th August (i.e. 2 wks)
ii) 3 days before the 15th day (25th August) would be 22, 23 & 24.
iii) 3 days after the 15th day (25th August) would be 26, 27 & 28.
iv) So, 22nd to 28th August (7days) is when you’re ovulating.
NOTE: For those who don’t have a 28 days cycle.
If your cycle is more than or less than 28days, just minus 14 days from your next menstruation.
i) For a 35-day cycle, ovulation is Day 21 ( i.e. 35-14)
ii) For a 24-days, ovulation is on Day 10 ( i.e. 24-14)
Let me repeat; this period when you’re ovulating is your fertile period. Any sexual contact during this period can form a pregnancy.
Remember, ovulation means your egg is ready to be fertilized. Here are major signs that your ovulation has started.
2. High body temperature
4. Feeling tired & sleepy
5. Breast tenderness
6. Breast fullness
Don’t forget that sperm stays in the female body for about 4 days.
A) If you want a BABY GIRL, have sex between the 3 days before your ovulation (i.e. 22 to 24th from our example).
Female sperms (X) swim slowly but can stay inside a woman’s body for days without dying off.
B) If you want a BABY BOY, have sex on the main ovulation day & 3 days after ovulation (i.e. 26 to 28th from our example).
Male sperms (Y) swim very fast but will get weak & die off if it finds no egg to fertilize, leaving female X to finish the job.
Note: It might not be 100% exact always. But studies have shown it works.
